Nashville Unleashed May 19, 2012

Saturday, May 19th 2012, Jack & Diane’s popular concert series, Nashville Unleashed, returns to The Lodge at Copperhead, located at 171 Copperhead Pkwy Blairsville, Georgia. Dinner service will begin at 6pm. Showtime is 7:30-9:30 pm. Tickets are available by calling (706)-835-7433, or by purchasing in our Online Store on Facebook. www.facebook.com/TheLodgeAtCopperhead

The Lodge at Copperhead has presented Nashville Unleashed quarterly for over a year now. The show typically sells out and garners rave reviews. The Lodge’s Grand Hall is converted into a “living room” with a circular stage strategically positioned in the center of the room, surrounded by candlelit tables. Listeners are treated to an intimate, acoustic-based concert which features Nashville’s premiere performing songwriters. The musicianship, songwriting, and quality of entertainment are incredible and highly unique.

Concert attendees will be inspired, laugh like a kid again, and maybe even spark or rekindle a flame with special someone. Memories will be made and listeners will take away something meaningful from spending an evening with these Artists. The unique, unrehearsed, and surprising dynamics of a Nashville Unleashed concert consistently exceeds expectations, leaving audiences in awe. Nashville Unleashed is so much more than a show…it’s an EXPERIENCE! VIP tickets $18, General Admission $12 (advance) or $15 at the door, based on availability.

Jack & Diane will perform with fellow Nashville songwriters Colleen McFarland and Jeff Miller in the May show. They will share personal stories behind their songs and invite listeners into the conversation. The camaraderie between the Artists and the audience is fantastic!

Colleen is a tremendously talented Artist with obvious influences like Bonnie Raitt and Emmylou Harris. Her music has been heard in the TV series’ Northern Exposure and Swing Town, as well as radio stations across the country including Sirius XM.

Jeff Miller is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, a great songwriter, and a master of the guitar loop. It’s fascinating to watch him in action, as very few Artists can pull this off tastefully and on-the-fly.

Another special dynamic to the May show will be guest Artist, Conni Laine. A Georgia native, she won a prestigious songwriting competition that was held on St. Simons Island last fall, where the finals were judged by Jack & Diane and 3 other Artists from the Nashville Unleashed Roster. “Conni stood out to us all immediately . There were a lot of good songwriters we saw that day, but it’s obvious that music and songwriting are simply a natural part of who Conni is. She can’t help but write and sing…those are the types of Artists we gravitate towards. She blew us away.” says Diane

About The Performers:

JACK & DIANE – Jack & Diane’s life plays out like a song we all know so well. As a married couple, the combination of their music and love for one another immediately resonates with an audience. Most refer to their music as a “bluesy, more soulful style of country.”  With her heaviest vocal influences being Artists like Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Nicks, one announcer told an audience that “Diane’s voice is as smooth as warm butter”. Jack, who formerly toured with Artists like George Thorogood and Brian Setzer, is revered as a tasteful and impressive guitar player/multi-instrumentalist.

Dani Carroll

DANI CARROLL– From her touching lyrics to her moving melodies, there is no doubt that the pure raw emotion in Dani’s music is a rare thing. Dani is revisiting her first love, Jazz, with a CD release this Spring. Dani has worked with such Nashville greats as David Malloy, producer for Reba McIntyre, Dolly Parton, and Mindy McCready; Mark Collie, a #1 charting country artist and songwriter; John Jarvis, two-time Grammy winning songwriter; and Skip Ewing, a Grammy nominated country artist and songwriter with over twelve #1’s to his credit. Dani performed often with Elektra recording artist Jason Mraz [“The Remedy,” “You and I Both”] in San Diego, her hometown. Making the move to Nashville in 2002 and inking a deal with Famous Music Publishing, Dani continues to write songs with some of Music Row’s top talent. Her distinctive alto voice and awe-inspiring presence on stage makes her performances a memorable experience for audiences everywhere.

MASON DOUGLAS possesses a distinguished diversity, sounding like Chris Isaak with his signature, sexy falsettos; like Garth Brooks with his honesty & range; & others even say he’s ‘country music’s Rob Thomas’. Mason has: showcased at the Ryman Auditorium; opened for Trace Adkins, James Otto, & Jewel; continued radio airplay with the song “Home Free”; released his 2010 debut CD on Rural Rhythm Records. Mason is: a HUGE military supporter; originally from Tucson, Arizona; a diehard Arizona Wildcats & Dallas Cowboys fan; a red wine lover.

JUSTIN ZIMMER – With his boyish grin, impressive vocals, and sought-after guitar chops, Justin is a memorable Artist that grabs the instant attention of the audience. Fresh off the Tiffany tour which included ABC’s Good Morning America and The View, Justin’s impeccable talent pales in comparison only to his genuine and humble nature.

May 21, 2011-Baillie And The Boys – All the Greatest Hits “Unplugged”

Emerging as one of the best known bands of the late 80’s and early 90’s, “Baillie And The Boys” were an integral part of forever shaping the direction of Country Music. Their first RCA single, a blend of East coast pop sound while keeping the traditional Nashville songwriting and personal lyrics the group became known for, garnered them to instant Top Ten success on the Country Charts.

Baillie And The Boys signed with RCA records in 1986 and released its self-titled debut in 1987 which spawned a total of 3 hit singles; “Oh Heart,” “He’s Letting Go” and “Wilder Days”. With the release of the groups 2nd CD, “Turn The Tide” the 1st single released from that project quickly shot up the charts to the # 3 position and became one of the longest running country singles plating on the charts for a record breaking thirty-seven weeks.  It became one the most performed songs of 1988. The next three singles off of that CD; “She Deserves You,” “Turn The Tide” and “(I Wish I Had A) Heart Of Stone” were some of the biggest country singles of 1988 and 1989.

Michelle Evans, Spokesperson for The Lodge at Copperhead said, “Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to experience the Music of Baillie And The Boys.”  “Baillie And The Boys were judges for our North Georgia Idol Contest, and we are pleased to have them back for a show.”  For reservations and ticket information call: 706-835-7433 or buy on-line.
