Grammy-award Winners Baillie And The Boys To Perform May 21st at The Lodge at Copperhead, Blairsville, Georgia

Emerging as one of the best known bands of the late 80’s and early 90’s, “Baillie And The Boys” were an integral part of forever shaping the direction of Country Music. Their first RCA single, a blend of East coast pop sound while keeping the traditional Nashville songwriting and personal lyrics the group became known for, garnered them to instant Top Ten success on the Country Charts.

Baillie And The Boys signed with RCA records in 1986 and released its self-titled debut in 1987 which spawned a total of 3 hit singles; “Oh Heart,” “He’s Letting Go” and “Wilder Days”. With the release of the groups 2nd CD, “Turn The Tide” the 1st single released from that project quickly shot up the charts to the # 3 position and became one of the longest running country singles plating on the charts for a record breaking thirty-seven weeks.  It became one the most performed songs of 1988. The next three singles off of that CD; “She Deserves You,” “Turn The Tide” and “(I Wish I Had A) Heart Of Stone” were some of the biggest country singles of 1988 and 1989.

Michelle Evans, Spokesperson for The Lodge at Copperhead said, “Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to experience the Music of Baillie And The Boys.”  “Baillie And The Boys were judges for our North Georgia Idol Contest, and we are pleased to have them back for a show.”  For reservations call: 706-835-7433 or get TICKETS on-line All inclusive packages for lodging, dinner, and the show are available in limited supply, call for more information.  Reserve your seat today for a musical experience you’ll remember forever.
