Meet Palmer Mireille – North Georgia Idol 2012

PalmerPalmer Mireille is 14, has been performing on stage since she was 3, and has sung for over 150 audiences.  She has won numerous contests in 3 different states. At 8 years old, she won the Towns Co. Kids Idol. After that she went on to win “Best in Show” in the Spirit of Appalachia contest in North Carolina  2010, highest score vocally in the” Starbound Talent Competition” in Atlanta 2011, and first place in the “Rising Star Regional Competition” in Chattanooga in 2012 before winning the North Ga. Idol, 2012. Besides being an accomplished singer, she has had the lead in many theatrical productions, danced for 11 yrs. and is currently a member  of Studio One’s” Hip Hop Crew” in Blue Ridge.

Palmer has been choreographing for herself and others for 5 years.  Recently, she has been working with well known songwriter Deedee O’Malley in Los Angeles , as well as Producer and track writer Sean Clyde, and has written and recorded her first original song “Spark”. Plans to market it are in the works.  She will spend the first two weeks of March training with the famous vocal coach Raven Kane, in L.A. and recording and writing more songs.

Her petite frame and powerful voice surprise audiences wherever she performs. Palmer loves hip hop dancing, shopping (especially for shoes), playing with her Pomeranian (Rusty) and cats (Fiona and Fluffy), Yoga, watching, “American Idol” and “X-Factor”, watching “Dance Moms”, and going on Instagram and Facebook to catch up with friends.

Palmer was named the 2012 North Georgia Idol in March 2012. She will be joining us for the 2013 competition as a guest judge and will perform her new single during intermission of the March 23rd auditions.
